It's time for the kick-off event of the 4-days EUforIA Latin America Youth Summit! Social Entrepreneurship will be presented as a way of creating change in the field of global challenges: taking part locally to tackle global challenges. Then 6 young Social Entrepreneurs from Latin America will present their initiatives and inspire the public to take action and find new solutions to global issues.

The Opening Event is divided in two parts:

1. In first place, the six Social Entrepreneurs from Latin America and a Social Entrepreneur from Switzerland will present their initiatives and experience, showing ways of finding local solutions.

• They will prove you that everyone can make the difference!

2. Later, the public will take an active role by experiencing an interactive and innovative type of debate: the World Café. Through this creative activity, the participants will experience the challenge of finding solutions in a constructive and interactive way. It is the time for them to be Social Entrepreneurs for a while.

• Everybody will have the opportunity to develop concrete ideas to tackle global challenges locally, participating in a creative innovative method. Also, the World Café will initiate the brainstorming process for next days’ ELAYS activities (finding as many ideas on how to tackle global challenges locally).

It’s YOUR opportunity to get a personal insight on social entrepreneurship and to contribute to the projects that will be launched in the next four days.
