Currywurst and Döner, Bundestag and Brandenburger Tor, Ashoka and Impakt

The arriving 7.15 in Berlin Hauptbahnhof was quite a cold shock, specially for the brazilian guys. Tobias from Ashoka Youth Venture picked us up at the train station to bring us to the hostel baxpax in one of the Berlin cultural neighborhoods called Kreuzberg.

The rich breakfast at the beautiful impakt office allowed us to warm us up for the 3-hours-hardcore-berlin-sightseeing which included the Bundestag, de Humboldt University, the Brandenburger Tor, the Alexanderplatz, Fernsehturm and a part of Kreuzberg.

During the sightseeing, we came also to a first culinary highlight of the trip, we ate the tipical ''german'' food: Currywurst and Döner Kebap.

Young Friends of the Earth allowed us a alternative and globalization-critical view on Berlin, than just seeing and tasting the clichés of the capital of Germany.

After almost 14 restless days, soon will be the first free evening, which will be used wisely. The objective of Berlin: Taste 20 different beer brands!

I know, its again a cliché to fit.. But a good one!
