Today we were invited to betterplace.org, a very innovative web platform where people in need of support meet other who want to help. Placed under the motto 'one to one, direct and worldwide', it's definitely worth a click: www.betterplace.org.
Filled up from the breakfast in the office, we went to see Checkpoint Charlie, the best-known crossing point between East Berlin and West Berlin during the Cold War.
I know I write too much about food, but i really have to mention the asian restaurant we went to. I wont mention the name of the restaurant (i don't think i have the right to do advertisement in this blog), but if you want to know where it is, feel free to contact me!
In the afternoon the mexican-argentinian-brazilian-bolivian tour group took part in a event of Ashoka Youth Venture, the six latin-americans could consult experts, and learn acquire a lot of know-how (similary to the ELAYS' experts forum). The difference was, that this time our latinos also acted also as experts!
Later that day, a public award show took place, followed by a aperitif from Ashoka Youth Venture. Unfortunately, we had to leave early because of our 'taste-20-different-beer-mission'. We first worked on the project in the hostel and continued it in a pretty underground rocksteady party at Schlesisches Tor (Thank you Lou for the hint!).
Everybody returned so tired from dancing and 'working on the project', that nobody even wanted to listen to some beautiful poems from a person (which name I wont mention at this point)...
I want you to post one of these poems!!!!!!!!!!! :D
